10/22/14 Meal – Mexican

LuckPotLuck Link I plan on making Mexican Chocolate Pudding.  A few weeks ago I made Vegan Chocolate pudding which was easy to prepare and well received.  I’m testing a variation that will add some cinnamon and a bit of chile powder.  The original recipe follows: Vegan Chocolate Pudding.  Making a Mexican variation was inspired by seeing this recipe in the New York Times: Mexican Chocolate Tofu Pudding.  My first test was a failure, too spicy for MESH or 3/4 of my own family.  I’ll test again on Sunday 10/19 then seek collaborators.

Success with 1 tsp of cinnamon and 1/4 tsp of Chili powder added to the Vegan Chocolate Pudding recipe for each multiple of 6 servings being prepared.  Since I prepared batches of 12 or 24 servings the first time I prepared this for MESH, it’s 2 tsp of cinnamon and 1/2 tsp of Chili powder added to the Vegan Chocolate Pudding recipe for each multiple of 12 servings being prepared.  Anyone like to collaborate?
