10/29/14 Spooky Rotisserie Chicken

LuckyPotLuck Link I am made Pumpkin Maple Pies for this meal.  To make Maple Pumpkin Pie I make two small changes to the recipe found on the label of Libby’s Pumpkin cans.  First I always, that is for both plain and maple pumpkin pie, double the recommended amount of ground cinnamon.  Then to change a plain pumpkin pie into a maple pumpkin pie I eliminate the granulated ( white ) sugar and substitute a combination of maple syrup and maple sugar.  For each pie it’s .5625 cups of maple syrup ( that’s ½ cup plus 1 tablespoon ) and one tablespoon of maple sugar.  Here’s a link to the Libby’s Famous Pumpkin Pie recipe.
